Neurofunk (eng. neurofunk) is a subgenre of the genre of drum-and-bass, the hallmark of which is increased attention to the sharpness of the sound is achieved by a sawtooth, the so-called "chewing", bass. This style established by artists such as Ed Rush, Optical, Matrix, Ryme Tyme and[1][2] in 1997-1998 in London. He influenced numerous musical genres — techno, house, jazz. Their influence was felt in the use of slender logical and rhythmical build of sharp sounds (stabs) in the bass line, which in turn supported high-tech drum loops with the inverse elements on the substrate. The main influence has always been classic funk, and his most dark and heavy psychedelic form. Prototype Neurofunk at an early stage can be heard in the mix Ed Rush &Optical on BBC Radio 1 in 1998. It was the most creative period in the first wave of producers, to determine a characteristic style of sound. In 1999 and 2000, ball rules of the Scottish project Konflict from Glasgow. They gave the sound and style structure more rigid and darker form with a strong influence of techno in the foreground. The main contribution of Konflict in the development of the genre is that they put new standards for future generations of producers of the XXI century. Optical engendered the basics of the genre with the track "To Shape the Future" (Metalheadz Records/1997). After Konflict, in 2002 such artists like Sinthetix, Cause 4 Concern, and Silent Witness, Break took as the basis of their achievements and concentrate on more cool and accurate programming drums, heavier bass lines and more "fat" and refined mixdown. With the development of Studio equipment and the skill of the producers style has evolved by leaps and bounds. Between 2003 and 2013 is characterized as the most technologically advanced. Iconic singers time — Rob F (ex-Sinthetix), Fierce, Optiv, Corrupt Souls, Mindscape, Noisia, Teebee, Phace, The Upbeats, Misanthrop, Desimal, Spor, Black Sun Empire, Receptor, and others. Also interesting for its unusual sound, Gridlok, despite the use of the tracks of the brass samples jazz orchestras of the era of bigband, he managed to keep the characteristic of old Neurofunk minimalism. Modern Neurofunk (neurofunk) is still difficult to create a style of electronic music. For more than a decade of existence, it has transformed from music is not fast (compared to modern stage) rhythm and deep simple sawtooth bass in a spicy mix of frequently changing acute, deep, dense, bold bass which is the main attribute of Neurofunk. Rhythm significantly accelerated, and the average is 170 to 174 beats per minute. However, developed and in the other direction, a hallmark of which is deep (so-called "tipovye") bass lines (examples of tracks with a similar focus can be found on the Invisible label owned by Noisia). Lately started appearing dubstep tracks with heavy and obviously neurovascular sound, the rhythm is usually slower than the average in mestrenova dubstep song and a lot slower neurolanguage. Often they are used in order to get people on the dance floor a little rest or as a good way to diversify the set and line. Example: release SOTE001 (label, Shadow of the Empire), consisting of the tracks "Black Sun Empire — Hyper Sun" and "Black Sun Empire — Cold Crysis".
